Should I choose OEM or ODM for my ceiling fan project?+
If you own the design or have a defined product specification, send your drawings to discuss OEM manufacturing. For changes to an ECO Fans model or joint design development, discuss ODM. We will agree the design work and responsibilities with you.
Which changes should I specify for a private-label catalogue model?+
Send the reference model and your finish, logo placement, packaging and manual requirements. We will assess whether components or tooling need to change, then agree the artwork, product specification and quotation with you.
Can voltage, lighting and controls be changed for my market?+
You can request these changes. Tell us the sales country or region, voltage, frequency and required lighting and control functions. We will assess compatibility for the model and confirm any component changes, samples and test documents needed.
What should I approve on a customised sample?+
Check dimensions, finish, blade shape, functions, logo, packaging and instructions against the agreed specification. Use the sample approval template to record results and requested changes. Both parties confirm the final sample and artwork before discussing bulk production arrangements.
How are sample charges handled?+
Sample unit prices are the same as bulk-order unit prices. Standard-model samples take 15 business days. Custom samples involving new blade tooling take 50 business days. Business sample or trial orders below MOQ, including one-piece orders, are accepted subject to project-specific confirmation.
What minimum quantity applies to a custom project?+
Standard models: MOQ 10 pcs per colour; mixed models are accepted. Models requiring new tooling: MOQ 1,000 pcs per colour. Standard-model production lead time is 30 business days; models requiring new tooling take 80 business days plus tooling time. Business sample or trial orders below MOQ, including one-piece orders, are accepted subject to project-specific confirmation.
How should we agree drawing ownership, tooling and exclusivity?+
State confidentiality, design ownership, tooling ownership and any exclusivity requirements when describing the project. Put the agreed scope, costs and responsibilities in writing before development or production begins.
